The first collection of BBQ sauces with matching Dry Rubs for the serious BBQer. Four premium sauces and four rubs together form this "competition level" BBQ kit. Each season Saus.Guru will launch new flavors and products in their Pitmaster Collection, focused on the latest trends in the serious BBQ scene.
A total of 8 new products spread over four taste sensations; Essential, Classic, Challenging and Dazzling. There is a suitable flavor for every user and application.
The sauces are based on the competition style sauces as we know them from the American BBQ championships, but with a twist. The chefs and sauce specialists at Saus.Guru have tailored both the application and the taste to the European, more sophisticated tongue.
For example, Pitmaster Collection sauces are not as overwhelmingly acidic as many of the other sauces in this segment. Also they are not extremely sweet. All this to bring more balance to the taste perception and to give all other flavor characters in the sauce more space to be experienced. In addition, they are a bit more gelatinous than is usually found in the market. The latter serves the end user excellently in painting, coating and the well-known "candy-ing" of products in Low and Slow Cooking.
The Dry Rubs are composed of the best ingredients. Top-class spices that have been processed with the utmost precision into granules of the right size (schnitt). This ensures an optimal distribution of the ingredients and thus creating the perfect 'bark'. These blends also carry a better salt balance so as not to displace the important flavor elements. The user is advised on the label about the ideal dosage.
